DIRECTIONS TO STUBLEY HOLLOW FARM -

FROM THE PEAK DISTRICT--west

(From Baslow and Chatsworth House)

 

Roads leading to Baslow are

A 619 from Bakewell (via A6 from Buxton)

A 623 from Whaley Bridge (Manchester)

 

1st main roundabout in Baslow follow signs for CHESTERFIELD

Through town and pass north gates to Chatsworth House (on right)-

At roundabout immediately after take 1st EXIT - A 621 to SHEFFIELD

 

Travel 4 - 5 miles and on reaching 'odd' shaped roundabout (Owler Bar) take 3rd

EXIT which is the B 6056 to HOLMESFIELD.

 

Travel through Holmesfield and into Dronfield Woodhouse.

Road narrows - beyond double bend and brow of hill (Meadow Grange Nursing

Home on left) TURN RIGHT into CARR LANE (signed to Dronfield).

 

¾ mile over 4 speed bumps (passing Total Petrol Station on RIGHT).  Beyond last

speed bump road bends left and starts to drop down hill.

 

Farm entrance on LEFT immediately beyond that left bend (just before yellow salt grit box) AUTOMATIC GATES
